In 1962 Continental Garage Limited (CGL) was founded by Antonio & Marietta Rizza, who instituted European Automobile Service Standards to the Jamaican Automobile Industry. The company quickly developed a reputation as a first class Automobile repair specialist, renowned for servicing European brands.

CGL started out in 1962 servicing mostly Renault and Peugeot vehicles and in 1973 obtained the agency for Alfa Romeo in Jamaica. In 1981 CGL became the dealers for BMW in Jamaica until 1996 when we acquired OPEL, a division of the General Motors Corporation. We still continue to provide first class service to both OPEL and BMW cars in Jamaica.

CGL is centrally located in the New Kingston area at 6, 8 &10 Lismore Avenue and hosts a vehicle showroom, full service repair facility with a parts division. Privately owned and operated by Roberto Rizza, this second generation is continuing to build on the tradition of excellence started by Antonio and Marietta.
